Eat right, sleep enough, avoid stress, stay away from fat, sugar, gluten… So many things you need to be conscience of to be healthy! Sure you will slip up. Very few people eat healthy all of the time. It is not however hard to do. Unfortunately most of us were raised on what we “liked to eat” instead of what was good for us. I recall when I was a teenager discovering that my father would not touch a tater-tot to save his life! The reason? It was because my mother put so many of them on the table when I was a child that he swore them out of his life once he and my mother divorced. I will confess that TV dinners and process food were a part of my growing up, and eating the re-broiled fat off of the pork roast was the best!
Even if you didn’t have home cooking and fresh vegetables in your life growing up, it is better to start appreciating them now rather than never. My personal diet consists of a good variety of lots of vegetables and fruit with a very small amount of meat. I could easily be a vegetarian but vegan would be difficult as I love my cheese, eggs and milk. I never thought of myself as needing a vitamin supplement even though I have always appreciated the fact that we need vitamins and have been familiar with each of their functions. I was introduced to Isotonix Supplements about 1 ½ years ago. Taking my Isotonix daily has changed my life in so many ways! I feel better, my skin is softer and healthier. I literally never get sick when everyone else around me is hacking and coughing. My daughter who has a strenuous physical schedule also is proof that Isotonix Supplements are life changing.
I don’t claim to be a doctor or even a trained nutritionist but rather living proof that there is a healthier, more effective way to give your body the nutrition that it needs to thrive. Even if you think you are getting enough nutrition from your diet, there could be several reasons that your food alone is not getting the job done.
In the upcoming series of blogs, I will do my best to share some of the information that I have uncovered in my quest to explain what makes your body function at optimal performance. Why am I tired? What should I eat to fight colds or illness? Do I need more B12, protein or Iron in my life? Please feel free to sign up for alerts or to comment if there is a topic that you would like to cover soon.
